This Privacy Policy explains how the Dropzone mobile application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service") handle information. Dropzone is a free-to-play arcade game. We keep data collection to a minimum and we do not sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by the Dropzone team ("we", "us", "our"). For any privacy question, contact us at the email in the "Contact" section below.
2. Information we collect
- Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it through our newsletter form (in the App or on this website) to receive game updates.
- Game data stored on your device — your virtual chip balance, level and XP, login streak, daily objectives and settings are stored locally on your device. This stays on your device and is not personal information we collect on our servers.
- Basic technical data — when the App fetches remote settings or when you submit the newsletter form, standard technical information (such as app version, device platform, language, and a timestamp) may be processed to operate and secure the Service.
We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or payment information. Dropzone contains no real-money transactions.
3. How we use information
- To send you game-related updates (new features, boards, tournaments) if you subscribed.
- To operate core features such as remotely configured content and settings.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service and prevent abuse.
We use your email only for Dropzone updates. We do not use it for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
4. Service providers
We use Google Firebase (by Google) to operate parts of the Service:
- Firebase Remote Config — to deliver settings and content to the App.
- Cloud Firestore — to securely store newsletter sign-ups.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by subscribing. Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights").
6. Data retention
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Game data stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
8. Children
Dropzone is not directed to children. The App simulates casino-style gameplay with virtual chips and is rated accordingly in the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied to such transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Significant changes may also be announced within the App or on this website.
